1962-1964: 1960s American Landscape, Ed Ruscha

Ruscha's 1960s work is both a 'snapshot' of Americana in the literal sense in that they are derived from photographs--but also as a dramatic documentary of 1960s architecture, and the fascination by one artist to portray it in his own time with the new look of Pop art.
