1949-1994: First and Third Turning Contrasts

Here are two juxtaposed videos from 1949 and 1994, that when played together result in interesting contexts, revealing the sharp and jarring contrasts between the wholesomeness of the First Turning and the violent and sinister Natural Born Killers film of the Third Turning. The actors in the 1949 film would be the grandparents or great-grandparents of the actors of Natural Born Killers.

The Do-Wop soundtrack exists in the future in relation to the 1949 film, yet has an ironic retro treatment in 1994, much to the same effect that the two films produce when played simultaneously.
