1962: Oramics, Daphne Oram

Oramics is developed by British composer and sound experimentalist Daphne Oram. Wave forms were drawn or painted on 35mm film, modulated by light passing through it. This was a 1960s version of graphical sound art developed in the 1920s and into the 1950s with Musique Concrete.
