1966: Pink Floyd at the UFO Club

Pink Floyd along with Soft Machine were one of the first bands booked at the club, opening in December 1966. The performances, mostly of protracted indeterminate jams (Interstellar Overdrive), were accompanied by projection of art house films and overhead projections of fluid psychedelic patterns.
